Created specifically for Photography websites, Fotos makes use of the WordPress media upload manager for creating your galleries. Simply upload 1 or multiple images to your gallery post, choose either Masonry, Carousel or Slider layout and publish. The theme will showcase any image attached to that gallery automatically.

** Choose Carousel, Masonry or Slider Gallery style on a per-post-basis!** – so iif you only want carousels, masonry or sliders you can do that – if you want different ones depending on the post that’s ok too!

You can add images that are landscape or portrait style and the theme will auto resize (not crop) them, keeping your proportions, so you won’t have any issues with your images getting cut off.

Besides being able to make galleries you can also organize these galleries into Categories, which is idea for photographers who have multiple clients, projects, photo styles…etc. Plus, the theme includes the ability to add a password to lock certain categories and their included galleries, which is perfect if you want some private photos, either for yourself or for your client

Photos don’t have a lot of SEO value, which is why I’ve also added an optional feature so you can showcase your full post along with the gallery in a “drop-down” like fashion using Javascript, so even though it’s not always visible (your photos are the focus) it’s still at the top of the code for the search engines. Plus, it’s a perfect place to talk about the photos in that gallery, give information to a client and even allow people to leave you feedback/comments. Or you can use the Slider gallery style which looks like a more familiar post with a title, slider and post content all visible.
