About Unix Theme

Unix Universal WordPress Theme with 6 different style variations.Unix Theme is simple and clean theme with a lot attention to detail. It is suitable for a lot of different business and private uses.

Package includes this folders:

• Unix_Wordpress – this is not zip file, use this one for the Theme installation with FTP client. This is useful when u need to update your theme. With the FTP client you can just upload and swap individually file by file
• Unix_Wordpress.zip – zip wordpress theme – WordPress Upload
• Help Files – Unix Theme is very well documented. It is structured as a website and therefore very easy to navigate.
• Licensing
• psd files – this folder contains: home.psd file, mixed folder with some useful things if you need to adjust something on the site and logo_psd folder where u will find all 6 color versions for logo (IMPORTANT – the home.psd file is not 100% the same as in WordPress because i made changes direct in codes)
• useful files folder – contains dummy photos and html content parts that i used in my preview files – content examples of blog post, portfolio custom post, features…

This theme is using two plugins for Twitter and for Contact form that install as a widget. You can use them as widgets in blog and contact sidebars. In Help Files you will find all the help you need to install these plugins.

Unix Template Updates

UPDATE 01 .10.2012. – Unix Version 3.2.

Inside “Updates” file you will find all about new update, what is changed. Thanks!

• changes for the Nivo Slider inside options panel
• improved footer part

UPDATE 12 .05.2012. – Unix Version 3.0.

• changes inside style.css file and inside css folder for orange.css,blue.css,green.css,purple.css,red.css,yellow.css files. Now main styles are available from WordPress editor. Swap style.css file with the new one and also above mentioned color css files from css folder. You can do this with your FTP client
• change in help files. I added some more help for portfolio page and also some informations about image sizes
• useful files folder is now available. Inside u will find dummy content, for blog post, portfolio post, features page and content blocks page, as i have in my live preview. This are html files, where u will find codes that i wrote inside my text editor for post and pages. Also photosUnix folder is available and contains dummy photos so that u can easily find sizes.

UPDATE 05 .05.2012. – Unix Version 2.0.

Moving Slider is now available in 960px size boxed like Nivo Slider without background on the whole width of the screen, centered on page (index5.php file)

NEW UPDATE 14 .05.2012. – Unix Version 3.1.

Inside “Updates” file you will find all about new update, what is changed. Thanks!

• small fix for google fonts inside style.css – find out in Updates file what i changed.
• small fix inside header.php, just swap this file
• small fix inside admin folder – just delete index.php file from admin folder or just swap the whole admin folder with the new one.

UPDATE 04 .05.2012. Unix Version 1.0.

• Changes in css folder, inside header.php and i add index4.php file
• fix for the Moving (home page) slider in css files and for google fonts in header.php
• one more home page layout with Nivo Slider available
